CSR

As an industry Real Estate is India’s largest employers of temporary labor and often finds itself in the news for reasons less than savory. Largely unstructured, CSR is usually not associated as strongly with real estate companies as it is with other organizations.

This is ironic because our sector is one of largest creators of wealth and symbolizesaspirations, prosperity and prominence. That’s probably because as an industry we are so caught in the race to build ever bigger, ever faster we tend to lose touch the some of the poignant realities that are plaguing our nation. The fact is that even as we stand at the brink of becoming of a global powerhouse, vast swatches of our population still find it difficult to meet the bare minimum needs to lead a life of dignity and respect.

However, we at Santoor we have never lost touch with this reality. The promoters of the group are significantly associated with various CSR activities and are actively involved with NGOs and charitable groups.
